Randa's Journey--Iowa FFA Convention!

Hello Friends!

After attending the Iowa FFA convention, I was once again reminded of how FFA members are consistently Leading Out Loud. Thanks to the state officers, Ryan, Hilary, Jacob, Beth, Dan, Amber, Brittany, Spencer, and Brady this convention was a huge success! After meeting many members such as the Vinton FFA chapter and seeing numerous awards given out there was some sure talent at this convention. The week started off with events such as FFA Idol, the business session where state officer candidates gave election speeches, and workshops from numerous presenters. Once the sessions started we heard from great speakers and recognized members for their outstanding accomplishments! As I sat on the convention floor during one of the sessions and listened to the state officers talk about perserverence, I was reminded of how grateful I am to be a part of an organization that lives so strongly by its values. The true perserverance from FFA members is something to be celebrated and it is truly exemplified in Iowa. Thank you to Iowa FFA for a wonderful convention, I could not be more proud and honored to have attended!
