Levy's Latest (Caliornia Convention)

California convention! Man what a time! It was so good being back in the CA for my home state convention. We had over 4,000 students attend the 82nd California State Leadership Conference in Fresno, CA. Bethany and I arrived Wednesday before convention and had a couple of days to visit with members who were competing in CDE's and Judging Competitions, and I also had a little bit of time to catch up with some old friends while being back in my college town. The convention lasted 4 days, with two keynote speakers, Mark Scharenbroich and Josh Sundquist, the Monday Night Dance, and tons of workshops, presentations, career shows, and of course the election of the New State Officer Team! Congratulations to Vince, Lindsey, Jackie, Ben, Jessica, and Casey... y'all have a wonderful year ahead of you! And to the old team, Adrienne, Sam, Mikaela, Jordan, Kaylyn, and Tatiana, all of you did a wonderful job with State Convention and thank you so much for your outstanding year of service! California couldn't have had a more amazing 2009 - 2010 State FFA Officer Team than yourselves!
